When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address. That's it. We don't collect any health data, device data, or personal information at this stage.

We use your email address solely to send you updates about Balay, including when early access opens and when we launch. We won't use it for anything else.

We process your email address on the basis of your consent. You gave consent when you signed up to the waitlist. You can withdraw this consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send you, or by emailing us directly at hello@balay.tech.

We'll keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If Balay launches and you haven't heard from us, we'll give you the option to stay on the list or be removed.

We use Squarespace to manage our mailing list. Your email is stored on their servers. Squarespace is certified under UK GDPR data transfer frameworks and we have a data processing agreement in place with them. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with any third party for marketing purposes.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@balay.tech and we'll respond within 30 days.

If you have concerns about how we handle your data, you can contact the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113. Please reach out to us first at hello@balay.tech and we'll do our best to resolve any concerns directly.

We may update this policy as Balay develops. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know by email. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest version.
